DesignScene produced the annual Unite party at the Labour party conference. Held at The Midland Hotel in Manchester on September 20th , the event presented its own unique challenges with huge logistical procedures, taking equipment through the security “ring of steel”. The event was attended by Gordon Brown, who made a guest appearance in order to give a speech to his Unite representatives, keeping the “Together we’re stronger” slogan burning brightly.
Live music came from The Allstars Collective, a collective of some of the best session musicians in the world, and featured the vocal talents of soul legend Jocelyn Brown.
