I am new to this forum. As I filled in the registration form I was asked to tick the Terms & Conditions, however when I wanted to read them...they were unavailable....so I don't know what I can say here or not?!? So sorry Jeremy if I say anything too politically incorrect.
I have launched the UK’s first restaurant & bar
awards dedicated exclusively to design. A judging panel of some of the
world's most creative and well respected leaders in design and style (including
Tony Chambers editor of Wallpaper and Conran & Partners) will recognise and reward both the
'restaurants & bars' as well as their 'project and product'
designers for
design excellence.
We have hundreds of entries so far from designers all over the UK and worldwide including Zaha Hadid, Tom Dixon, David Collins and many more.
A final awards event on the 27th April will obliterate all the boring standards, normally associated with awards ceremonies. Not only hugely innovative in format and presentation, but also starstudded with world leaders in hospitality, design and the style conscious general public, we will ensure huge media attention here and worldwide and hopefully set a new standard for the future.
We have many partners on board and are looking for a company or individual to coordinate both lighting and audio on the night. Martin Professional have provided us with lights. Light Bureau are doing the lighting design and I am in Talks with Bang & Olufsen to lend us their audio equipment. This is a really good opportunity to be seen by the right people and do something very different.
