I totally agree with Mike.Having suffered at the hands of a company that failed to pay me nearly £2K; went bust, and while this was happening set up again using a name that is shortened to the old companies name, with a web site that appears no different to the old company, I also fail to see why articles are written appearing to glorify such companies.
As Mike has said it is normally the people at the bottom of the food chain that suffer (the free lancer) and funily enough you don't find the "Phoenixing" companies offering appologies and decent wages to those that they dumped in it the last life!
In my opinion companies like this should be labled with their past (anyone with a criminal record is!) then people can deal with them or not as they like. However the likes of stuck for staff keep merrily requesting staff for them at peanut rates, articles appear in other trade press (often written by them) saying how wonderfull they are and the next bunch of casualties are lured in.
