For those who are are on twitter and follow me on @mango_pie witnessed a phenomenon on Sunday evening.
Even I found myself walking away from my laptop saying, 'did that just really happen.'
After an inncent twitter to @paulwalsh enquiring after his experience on the London Eye as I had never been, started a ripple in the twitter pond. It became apparent to Peter Kerwood, Head of Marketing for Events at Merlin Entertainment there were a lot more in the industry that had never been on the Eye and so the reason for an event was born.
In 5mins a guest list of 25 was collated, 20 minutes later and a photographer offered to record the event and @fisher_prod offered their new sexy battery LED's, even a caterer in West Sussex offered to help.
Brainstorming with planners across the country brought names forward such as 'Eye Tweet,' ' Eye Speed Twetworking,' 'Eye Speed Netweeking' and 'Get the London Eye Tweetment.'
Two hours in to the most inspiring and constructive brainstorming session and the Eye Tweet was organised. It was the fastest event I had ever organised!
Details of the date will follow shortly to those who follow @pkerwood.
